Searching for Technology

TTI is a company that searches for auspicious technologies to commercialize and bring to market. TTI will acquire licenses and/or patents, identify interested buyers, and negotiate the technology transfer. Some of the most innovative technology transfers involve collaborative projects with industry. For certain exceptional opportunities, TTI will make the transfer to its wholly owned subsidiary,

Organic Products International. TTI seeks socially responsible, leading edge technologies that are significant improvements over existing applications and that present a global market once fully developed. TTI will fund the completion of research and testing, acquire licenses and/or patents and bring the technologies to market. When new products are developed, the processes of performing multiple tests, standardizing manufacturing, applying for patents and obtaining governmental approval is time intensive and costly.

The story of researchcompleted projects being orphaned by universities, research facilities and companies is all too common. Significant opportunities exist in the patent procurement arena, as currently only 1% to 5% of all patented technology gets commercialized.

Some of our current products include:

Flash OFF
Flash OFF which is a rust preventative designed to inhibit flash rusting on low carbon steel. When paint and other coatings are
stripped from steel in preparation for re-coating, a logistical time delay is often present. During this time delay, which can be short, or extended, flash rusting can occur. The rusting and corrosion of unprotected steel can adversely affect the performance of the steel resulting in many types of failures.

A study entitled “Corrosion Costs and Preventative Strategies in the United States” conducted by CC Technologies, with support from the Federal Highway Administration and National Association of Corrosion Engineers, estimates the total direct cost of corrosion in the U.S. is $137.9 billion annually.

EcoAvenger
EcoAvenger is an environmentally safe technology that is an all natural, antimicrobial liquid designed to eradicate citrus canker. TTI has partnered with a contract manufacturer in order to obtain an EPA label for this uniquely patented product and management strongly believes that it will be secured within a year. Citrus canker is a disease caused by the bacterium Xanthomonas axonopodis. It is a highly contagious disease and can be spread rapidly by:

  • Windborne rain
  • Lawnmowers and other landscaping equipment
  • People carrying the infection on their hands, clothes or equipment
  • Moving infected or exposed plants or plant parts

In one study by the University of Florida it was estimated that citrus canker reduces the pack out rate of fresh fruit for market by as much as one third. Florida alone has a $9 billion commercial citrus industry. Revenue lost from diseased citrus has been estimated as high as $9.8 million annually in Florida alone.
